It is believed that astrology began as far back as the 3rd millennium B.C. in Samaria but the first organized system appeared in the 2nd millennium B.C. At that time the astrologers observed the constellations to determine seasonal cycles and the best time to plant crops and harvest them. It grew to be used as Mundane Astrology which was used to keep the King and his country safe from invasion. It eventually evolved into horoscope astrology in the 6th century B.C. to what it is today the view that all things in the universe is energy and therefore how do the planets in our solar system affect our planet and us individually. We know the Moon effects our oceans, high and low tide every month. We then can postulate that astrology informs us through its practice and insight how each of the planets affect us.
Sun – Our life force it is what we came here to be.
Moon – How we react to daily life on an emotional basis. How we feel at our core.
